Our process begins with a thorough assessment of your existing fence.  We check every fence post, cross board, and picket so we can evaluate how much of your fence is salvageable.  We’ll then provide an estimate based on our recommendations to get your fence looking new again.

When we refinish wood fences, we try to salvage as much good material as possible.  We’ll replace any rotted, twisted or bowed wood with premium, pressure-treated lumber.  We stain/paint the inside of the cross boards and pickets before installing them to ensure every inch of your newly refinished fence is thoroughly sealed and protected against the elements.  We install new material with decking screws instead of nails and replace popped nails with decking screws on re-usable pickets.  Though this process takes a bit more time, your refinished fence will last years longer.

We then pressure wash the entire fence.  When the fence is dry, we’ll power sand re-used lumber.  This allows the new stain to seal better, and it brings out the grain of the wood to make it look better.

When everything is repaired, clean and dry, we apply 1-2 coats of premium stain or paint (based on your request).  We don’t just put color on a fence, we completely seal it!
